Naeto C, returns with the second single, “Duro” off his second album, Super C Season. The single, which features the newest Storm Records Artist YQ was produced by the talented Dr. Frabz. Currently, the single is about to be released to local radio stations and a video is already in the works , which will hopefully be shot in a couple of weeks. YQ was introduced to Storm through Naeto C and is affiliated with his Cerious Music Imprint, his deal with Storm Records is a joint venture through 2 Koncepts Entertainment, an emerging entertainment company here in Lagos.
Super C just recently released a video for his, “Successful”(P-Mix) directed by Bobby Boulders. The video was recently shot in South Africa at the Channel O Awards, from points in between Carnival city to Mandela Square within Johannesburg.
Naeto who is currently rounding up his Masters Degree in Energy Economics at the University Of Dundee is also recording his second album, titled “Super C Season”. The forthcoming album from Naeto C is positioned towards being one of the most anticipated albums of 2010. So Far Super C has released one track off the album, which is “Ako Mi Ti Poju”.
“Ako Mi Ti Poju” is currently number 1 on the MTV Base, Top 10.
Naeto was recently at the MTV awards in Kenya to present the award for Best R & B Artist to Tu Face. A month later, he picked up the Video Of the Year Award at the Channel O Awards for his hit single, “Kini Big Deal” and also performed the continental hip-hop hit record, “All Around the A”, with other African Superstars including HHP, Proverb & Nazizi amongst others. Naeto also features on a new single, “Boogie Down” by HHP, this continental collabo is generating a lot of buzz and these African Hip Hop Heavyweights are planning a video.
Earlier in 2009 as he continued his award tour in Nigeria, Naeto C also picked up awards at both at Sound City Music Video Awards in Lagos and at The Hip Hop World Awards at Abuja.
Between opening a show for R. Kelly at the ThisDay Musical Festival in Sun City, South Africa, Judging Emcee Africa’s finale in Botswana and hosting a soon to be released television show in Kingston, Jamaica with Channel O’s Kabelo…He has been working hard to insure that the positioning to attain a global presence is brewing for Super C…
“Duro” is a certified hit record, driven by the big hook and the radio friendly production of Dr Frabz, Naeto delivers again, the song is effortless and shows that there is so much more to come. On his next album Naeto is already working with an array of major hitmakets with Frabz, regular collaborator Tee-y-mix, So Sick, Ikonz and Terry G so far in the bag, the album has hits for days and as anticipation builds watch out for Naeto C on radio, tv, online and be sure he will keep bringing the heat as only he can.
